Understanding Shipping Timeframes at Outback EquipmentUpdated 12 days ago

At Outback Equipment, we want to be upfront and clear about how long it takes to get your gear on the road. That's why you'll now see more detailed dispatch information on certain products, including messages like:

  • In stock: Ships in 1 - 3 days
  • Ships in 3 - 5 days
  • Ships in 1 - 2 weeks
  • Ships from our warehouse partner

These timeframes refer to the estimated time it takes for your order to leave the warehouse, not including the delivery time.  These messages are designed to give you a realistic estimate of when your order will be dispatched — so you can plan your adventures with confidence.  


Why Are There Different Timeframes?

We work with a wide range of suppliers, manufacturers, and warehouse partners to bring you the best gear. Some products ship directly from our Brisbane warehouse, while others are sent from trusted partners across Australia.

That’s why:

  • Some items are ready to ship right away.
  • Others may need a few days to be processed, packed, or ordered in.
  • Some items are quite specialised and made to order directly with the manufacturer.


Are These Timeframes Guaranteed?

We do our best to provide accurate estimates based on real-time stock levels and supplier information. However, these are not guaranteed dispatch times, and occasionally there may be delays due to:

  • Supplier backorders
  • Freight delays
  • Peak periods or public holidays
